Sponsor a cat or cat cabin

Could you sponsor a 'Golden Oldie' cat in our permanent care for just £1 a week?

You can help cats and kittens in your local area by sponsoring a ‘Golden Oldie’ cat in our permanent care or by sponsoring a Cat Cabin.

Sponsor a ‘Golden Oldie’ – Cats Protection do not put to sleep any cat / kitten simply because they are difficult to re-home or have medical needs. We make great effort to rehabilitate these cats and give them a reasonable quality of life, even if it means permanent foster. Long-term medical care for a ‘Golden Oldie’ is quite substantial.

You could become a ‘Golden Oldie’ sponsor for as little as £1 per week (or more if you wish) and your kindness will assist us to care for these ‘Golden Oldies’.

In return, we will send you a photograph of your sponsored cat, and an update on how he / she is doing every three months.

Basil 18 years. I was found as a stray about a year ago with a severe throat infection and no tail.

Dizzy 15 years. I was found abandoned on my last legs, Christmas time 2004 and could hardly stand up, hence my name.

Casper 18 years. I was handed in 2 years ago due to a change in my familys' circumstances. Because of my age, I am inlikely to be adopted so I will stay on permanent foster.

Harry, 18 years. I have been in Cats Protection care for about 5 years now as I am claustrophobic & hate being shut in a house. I live in the garden and garden shed of my foster Mum which suits me just fine.

Sponsor a Cat Cabin - Become a Cat Cabin sponsor for as little as £1 per week (or more if you wish) and your generosity will provide vital funds to help our cat cabin occupants.

You can help provide homeless cats and kittens with real and practical support by sponsoring a Cat Cabin, a purpose-built pen located at a Salisbury Cats Protection foster home, until a permanent new home can be found for them.

Every year a single Cat Cabin gives dozens of unwanted or poorly cats a warm, clean, and safe place to stay, with a cosy bed, toys, regular meals, medical care and attentive fosterers.

In return of your kindness, we will send you a certificate and a special newsletter every three months; featuring stories and photographs of cats that have been helped by your support, on behalf of the grateful occupants.
